Here's my transcription of the head to "Ice Pick" by jazz wizard Oz Noy. More than just a jaw dropping chops fest, this opening track from Schizophrenic (2009) will move your feet with its irresistible groove and sunny melody. Check out Oz's use of chords to execute the main theme from bar 10 to 16, the playful switches in time signatures from bar 29 to 44, and his über funky syncopations from bar 46 to the end.
