This solo is a perfect example of Kotzen's ability to blend both his fusion and blues influences within a pop framework. Richie starts off with a few tasty bends and goes into a cool passage in bars 3 - 5 that features his signature finger roll moves, 4 fret stretches, and deft pull offs. Notice how Richie mostly outlines an Em in those bars with the 7th and 9th added for colour. The punchline at the end of the solo is a tongue twisting pentatonic lick involving the b5 that jumps all the way from the 12th fret to the 5th fret position. Hope you enjoy the tab!
